You have a big passion for wine. You are enthusiastic and love advising guests about their wine choice. You are service-oriented and enjoy pouring excellent wines for different audiences. Your job as (Junior) Sommelier
As our new colleague you will work for STR’EAT Bars & Kitchens: a brand new all-day ‘eat, drink & meet’ concept with 10 unique kitchens and 3 funky bars at Strijp-S. You will make sure our guests are well advised about our extensive wine menu and will experience an unforgettable culinary evening. Besides that, you are a real team player. You help out your colleagues and discuss trends and developments of the wine industry together.
A few of your tasks include:
- Pouring the finest wines of the market and serving matching appetizers.
- Advising guests on their wine choice based of their preferences.
- Maintaining our extensive range of wines and adding new wines to the menu.
- Working as a team to make sure the guests have an unforgettable evening.
- Staying up to date on the latest trends and developments of the wine industry.

We are STR’EAT Bars & Kitchens: a brand new all-day ‘eat, drink & meet’ concept with 10 unique kitchens and 3 funky bars based in Strijp-S, Eindhoven. The kitchens are run by independent entrepreneurs who have their own kitchen at STR’EAT. Together they form a diverse and unique range of food. The bars include: Bobby’s Bar, The Wine Bar and a general bar. STR’EAT offers an extensive range of food and drinks for everyone.
STR’EAT Bars & Kitchens is part of GJD Horeca & Events, an experienced player in the field of hospitality and events that has grown to several hospitality businesses spread across Eindhoven, Den Bosch, Breda and Helmond.
We want you in our team!
As a (Junior) Sommelier at STR’EAT Bars & Kitchens you pour wines for a diverse audience. From residents of Eindhoven area to tourists visiting Strijp-S. And from entrepreneurs and students to families. You are an energetic and social person, so it is easy for you to chat to anyone.
Besides that you are:
- experienced in working as a sommelier or eager to become a sommelier.
- hospitable, sociable and flexible and you are a (wo)man of action.
- stress resistant. You always know how to keep your head cool.
- an enthusiastic person who loves to work in a team.
- looking for an on-call/parttime/fulltime job of 8 -38 hours in Eindhoven area.
