Making guests happy with your food is your passion. You know exactly which ingredients and techniques to use to cook the perfect dish. And you do all of this with a big smile on your face, because the kitchen is just the place where you feel most at home. Sounds like you? Your job as a Chef

As our new colleague you will work for The Black Cat: a brand new craft cocktailbar in the center of Eindhoven. At The Black Cat we will also be serving food. From small bites to actual dishes. Since cooking is your natural habitat, you will be our food expert. You are in charge to manage the kitchen staff and make sure the guests are enjoying their food. Besides that, you are a real team player. You help out your colleagues and love to teach them more about certain bites and dishes.


A few of your tasks include:

– You are responsible for managing the kitchen staff;

– You will monitor the overall quality;

– You work according to the HACCP guidelines;

– You can develop yourself and take opportunities to grow further in your role;

– You will coordinate the preparation process as effectively and efficiently as possible;

– You will work with the team to prepare and provide recipes and menus;

– You will ensure that all dishes are prepared according to recipe.

We are The Black Cat, a brand new craft cocktailbar located on the Kerkstraat in Eindhoven. The Black Cat is part of GJD Horeca & Events, an experienced player in the field of hospitality and events that has grown to several hospitality businesses spread across Eindhoven, Den Bosch, Breda and Helmond.



We want you in our team!

As a Chef at The Black Cat you shake, stir and roll drinks for a diverse audience. From residents of Eindhoven area to tourists visiting the city. You are an energetic and social person, so it is easy for you to connect with anyone.


Besides that you are:

  • experienced in working as a chef.
  • hospitable, sociable and flexible and you are a (wo)man of action.
  • stress resistant. You always know how to keep your head cool.
  • an enthusiastic person who knows how to manage a team.
  • looking for an on-call/parttime/fulltime job of 8 -38 hours in Eindhoven area.
